Errazuriz Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Casablanca Valley 2023/24

The Errázuriz Estate was founded in 1870 when Don Maximiano Errázuriz planted his first vineyards at Panquehue in the Casablanca Valley – 100km north of the capital. Recognising that this valley, with its cool, rainy winters, hot, dry summers and moist Pacific Ocean breezes, was ideal for growing grapes, Don Maximiano sent for the finest clones from France. With tenacity and perseverance, he transformed this barren land into a world-class vineyard. The team today is dedicated to environmentally friendly viticultural practice and is consistently innovating its techniques to capture the natural qualities of the terroir. Expect citrus notes of tangerine and grapefruit, accompanied by herbal aromas and a touch of dried grass. A creamy profile and refreshing acidity provide balance. Pair with fresh seafood, lightly seasoned fish, and tangy goat's cheese.
