Product Description
Discover the classic Greek Agiorgitiko grape with this Papagiannakos Erythros from Attica. The wine is a blend of indigenous Agiorgitiko grapes and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Peloponnese vineyards. Each grape variety is vinified separately and then aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. The blending of the two grapes results in broad, generous aromas of ripe dark fruits and a hint of spice and star anise. The wine boasts rich bramble fruit characters, well-integrated French oak, fine tannins, a light savory note, and a blackcurrant pastille twist on the finish. Perfect for pairing with steak or lamb-stuffed peppers.
