Te Mata Bullnose Syrah is a full-bodied red wine exclusively produced by the Te Mata Estate Wineries located in Hawke’s Bay Appellation in New Zealand. It ranks top 10 among the prestigious Te Mata wines produced. A clear vindication of its quality is the aggregate score of 92 accorded by wine critics. It is undoubtedly one of the best wines from New Zealand. It is easy to see why this Syrah commands such a magnitude of respect on its palatability. Bursting with flavors of cherry, black currant, caramel, and pine nuts coupled with high acidity, this red wine has an exquisite mouthfeel. Just after destemming, the grapes undergo fermentation and maceration at regulated temperatures. They are later crushed and transferred to French Oak vats for the aging process that could take up to 17 months. Finally, it is mixed and purified, ready for bottling.
