Crafted in the Lazio region by Casale del Giglio, this expressive Shiraz IGT Lazio showcases how beautifully the Syrah grape adapts to Italy’s Mediterranean climate.. Originally from the Rhône Valley and celebrated worldwide, Syrah found a natural home in the Province of Latina, where Casale del Giglio first planted it in 1985. Only the ripest grapes are hand-selected, cold-macerated to preserve rich colour and aroma, then gently fermented to extract fine tannins and depth. After 8–12 months of barrique ageing and a further 6 months in bottle, the result is a wine of remarkable character.. Expect a velvety, full-bodied red with notes of blackberries, spice, and dark chocolate, supported by soft tannins and a lingering, elegant finish.
