Chiyomusubi Umegatari is a natural umeshu made with plums from the local Daisen area. It has no added preservatives, flavourings or food colourings. The umeshu has a herbal nose of red shiso, hibiscus tea, mint and lemongrass with dim marzipan notes in the back. It has a faint sweetness on the palate, with earl grey tea and a spicy finish with mulled wine spices. Serve well chilled (4-8 °C), with ice, or with soda. Store in a dry and cool place, avoiding direct sunlight. This plum sake is produced by Chiyomusubi Sake Brewery in Tottori prefecture, Japan. It is made with rice shochu, plum (Daisen, Tottori) and fructose.
