Tommasi family Estates cover 800 hectares in seven of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions – from Veneto to Sicily. Tommasi Viticoltori was the first of the estates, established in 1902 by Giacomo Tommasi. It’s now managed by his nine great-grandchildren, the fourth generation, each playing key roles in the company's management. A blend of 50% Corvina, 30% Corvinone. 15% Rondinella, and 5% Oseleta, this red has been made by the appassimento method, whereby the grapes were dried for three months to concentrate the flavours before fermentation. It then spent three years maturing in Slavonian oak casks. Bold and rich, this beautifully intense wine is packed with flavours of ripe cherries, plums, and delicate florals.
