Bodegas San Alejandro, a leading Garnacha specialist based in Calatayud, Aragon, Spain, produces this elegant red wine. Founded in 1962, the cooperative sources grapes from 1,200 plots covering 950 hectares of vineyard. The extreme natural conditions of the area, with elevations up to 1,100 metres and contrasting hot days and cool nights, allow Garnacha to thrive. From 2019, Bodegas San Alejandro is converting to organic status. This wine offers effortless notes of raspberry and sweet and sour cherry, with distinctive minerality.
