Bodegas San Alejandro, a leading Garnacha specialist based in Calatayud, Aragon, Spain, produces this 1 x 75cl red wine. Founded in 1962, the cooperative has 150 growers and covers 950 hectares of vineyard. The extreme natural conditions of the area, with elevations up to 1,100 metres and contrasting hot days and cool nights, have allowed Garnacha to adapt. From 2019, Bodegas San Alejandro is converting to organic status. This approachable wine offers aromas of juicy raspberry, minerals, herbs, and a hint of vanilla. Fruity with a lovely balancing freshness, leading to a moreish finish.
