Product Description

The Definition range brings the world's greatest wine styles to Majestic customers. Set on the right bank of the River Garonne, medieval Saint-Émilion is known as the heartland of Merlot in Bordeaux. Crafted by family-run estate Château du Roy from 35-year-old vineyards rooted in clay and sandy gravel soils, this wine expertly balances freshness and complexity. It's a blend of 65% Merlot 65%, 30% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec, with 30% of the wine aged in oak providing subtle spice notes. Expect aromas of cherry and redcurrant, plus a touch of pepper. Flavours of raspberry and a light smokiness make it an ideal pairing for grilled meats or fine cheeses.
