If you don’t yet know Colchagua Costa it’s only a matter of time – this is a rising star among Chilean wine regions, producing cool-climate styles of both red and white. Because our Majestic buyers look for the best, the Merlot has been produced by the leading family-owned winery in Chile. Grapes are grown near the Pacific Coast, in vineyards of iron-rich terra rossa – a soil type that adds complexity and depth. Expect an intense and balanced aromatic profile of blackberry, cherry, violet, black pepper and cedar. With soft tannins, medium body and a long finish, it will be a good pairing with pork, poultry, pizza or pasta.
