Not complex, but ready to simply enjoy right now.' Tasted by Tamlyn Currin, wine writer for Jancis Robinson, who gave it 16/20. A very fine, elegant and balanced Kabinett. It has a subtle fruit sweetness, is very fresh and offers pure drinking pleasure. Grown in the highest part of the Röttgen vineyard, with 30-40 year old vines, this wine has a VDP.GROSSE LAGE (Grand Cru) classification, a guarantee of quality. The site is higher elevation and slightly hidden from the sun, with high iron and mineral content in the soil. The grapes were farmed sustainably and carefully harvested by hand, then fermented using natural yeast. This dry white wine comes from the very best of German vineyards.
