This Niepoort LBV is a fortified wine from Portugal, with a brilliant red colour and a wonderful aroma of dark fruits and a classy touch of chocolate. On the palate, sweet grainy seductive tannins give the wine a superb elegance and interact well with the fruit and fine spirit finish. The wine can be enjoyed now, and will become more complex with further cellaring for a couple of decades. It's recommended to be decanted before serving. Made from Touriga Nacional and other red grapes, this wine has an ABV of 20% and is a full-bodied style.
