Peter Lehmann 'True Legend' Sauvignon Blanc 2023, South Australia

In the few decades since they were founded in 1979, Peter Lehmann have grown to become one of the definitive producers of South Australia – so little wonder this wine is called True Legend. The team sources grapes from more that 800 hand-tended vineyards across 14 Barossa sub regions, choosing just the right bunches for each one of the diverse bottlings. The cool 2022 vintage conditions saw a beautiful preservation of fresh fruit flavours in the Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Vibrant aromas of tropical fruits and pepper open to flavours of passionfruit, honeydew melon, tomato leaf and citrus. Crisp and dry, this makes a fabulous aperitif or pairing for freshly shucked oysters.
