Blend Milky White

“This shade reminds us of gold topped milk. It's a bright off white shade with a hint of creamy warmth.” Milky White is the warmest and creamiest of our off whites and as the name suggests really reminded us of the yellow/gold topped milk you used to have delivered by the milkman! This gorgeous shade has warming yellow undertones which neutralise cool toned light in a north facing room but remains soft rather than bright to keep your home feeling relaxing and tranquil. Milky White would be a great choice pretty much for any colour palette as long as it’s not too cool working especially well in a north facing setting to counter the cool light source. It works really well with natural textures and colours such as stone or warmer woodwork and pairs beautifully with greens! We wouldn’t use Milky White in a south facing room as the yellow undertones paired with the warm natural light is likely to make the shade appear more creamy/yellowy than off white. The perfect off white is so hard to find so in our original colours launch we wanted to create a trio covering the ultimate warm, neutral and cool toned off whites. Often, selecting your perfect shade of white can be the most difficult colour decision (who knew white could be so tricky ey?!) as white can appear drastically different due to many factors in the room - lighting, flooring, accessories and more! All of these will bring out the subtle undertones in your off white paint shade so you need to ensure you’re mindful of this when selecting the perfect white shade for your room! Honestly though, it’s really worth getting right as when done correctly, it can create a lovely, light, spacious and serene feeling in your room!
