Apple 'Lord Lambourne'

Apple Lord Lambourne was introduced in 1907 and is still competitive with newer varieties. The fruits are uniformly orange-green with red streaks. The flavour is sweet and aromatic, with a hint of strawberry, and is reminiscent of later-ripening varieties with crisp, juicy flesh. This dessert apple is available in mid-September and can be stored until November. An old favourite and one of the most trusted varieties by the masses, as it holds the prestigious RHS AGM.
