Phoenix' is a superb white grape hybrid, specially selected for its robust disease resistance and exceptional fruit quality. This German-bred vine produces good-sized grapes in tightly packed clusters, boasting a soft Muscat aroma and delightful flavour when fully ripe.Beyond its delicious fruit, ‘Phoenix’ also offers ornamental value. Its large leaves and vibrant autumn colour make it an attractive feature when trained over a pergola. The grapes are perfect for enjoying fresh or for crafting your own wine.Water your grape vines during dry spells, being mindful not to overwater, as this can compromise fruit quality. In spring, apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or garden compost to the base to help retain moisture throughout the summer. Prune in winter and train during the summer months. To ensure the best fruit quality, allow your vine to establish for at least three summers before permitting a full grape crop.Choose a sunny, well-drained location, ideally a south-facing wall, and provide sturdy support for the vine's twining stems.
