'Vibrant' produces medium to large conical fruits that are beautifully uniform. The berries are glossy and brilliant red, and they are carried on strong, upright, flowering stems. A large number of flowering trusses are produced in succession, resulting in cropping over a long period of time. Each truss only has 4 to 5 flowers, resulting in a larger fruit. Plants produce from May to June, with a second crop in September beginning in the second year. 'Vibrant' was the highest-rated flavour selection in Horticultural Development Council trials.
