Schizophragma hydrangeoides var. concolor 'Moonlight'

The RHS AGM Schizophragma hydrangeoides var. concolor Moonlight is a lovely variation. The oval, serrated foliage has a lovely silvery blue colour, and it forms a thick covering over the robust, woody stems. Despite its modest growth rate, once planted, it will offer a wonderful wall covering that will bring years of enjoyment. For the first few years, this climbing shrub will require tying to the supporting wall, but after that, it will adhere itself to the wall using self-clinging aerial roots. The hydrangea-like, creamy-white, lace-capped flowers are produced in flat-topped bunches during June and July, earning them the name Climbing Hydrangea. Height: 6m (19'). Spread: 3m (10')
