Cranberry 'Pilgrim'

With thin, leathery leaves and a lax habit, this low-growing evergreen is great for producing a cascading impression in containers or hanging baskets. Juicy dark-red berries with a particular sour flavor accompany the small pink blossoms. The red berries cling to the plants throughout the winter if left unpicked, creating a striking contrast with the bronze winter foliage. Cranberry 'Pilgrim' can be used to flavor a wide range of foods, as well as preserves and classic cranberry sauce. Height: 15cm (6). Spread: 30cm (12).
