Berberis thunbergii f. atropurpurea (Hedging)

This popular Japanese barberry is known for its vibrant purple foliage that turns bright red in the autumn. Berberis thunbergii f. atropurpurea bears yellow blooms along the length of each branch in spring, which pollinating insects adore. The flowers are followed by bright red berries, which provide a rich source of food for wild birds.
