Lobelia x speciosa 'Vedrariensis' (Marginal Aquatic)

Tall flower spikes of dark purple, three-lipped, tube-like blooms appear above deep green foliage from July to September. Lobelia x speciosa ?Vedrariensis? is a sturdy and reliable variety which requires very little maintenance and thrives in sun or semi shade. This Cardinal Flower will add a splash of colour to bog gardens and moist borders as well as thriving beside ponds. The flowers will be adored by butterflies and makes an excellent cut flower to enjoy indoors. An excellent option for areas of the UK that experience very cold winter months. Height: 90cm (35in).
