A French production of Jersey ?half long? types, ?Jermor? is an RHS AGM variety that is otherwise known as ?banana? shallots, due to its long bulbs. Its superior crisp flesh with a pink hue and glossy copper skin, is what makes this autumn planting shallot a favourite with exhibitors, while it?s lovely sweet flavour gives it popularity in the kitchen.
