Sandwich Harbour Full Day Excursion

Meet a guide driver at your hotel or at the Walvis Bay Waterfront, getting an early start on the day to enjoy cooler morning temperatures as you travel. On your way to Sandwich Harbour, visit the Walvis Bay Lagoon, which is an inhabitant to hundreds of thousands of flamingos and other birds. Next, learn about the Walvis Bay Salt Refiners, Namibia's biggest salt refinery and than head into the Namib Desert, searching out the wildlife and desert plants that thrive in this harsh landscape. The tour will end with the drive to the Pelican Point Peninsula to see a small colony of seals before returning to the waterfront.
