This Chateau Bellefont Belcier Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classe 2016 is a dark, fleshy and voluptuous wine with striking dark stone fruit, smoke, tobacco, incense and leather notes. A good amount of French oak shapes the wine and gives it depth, yet all the elements are very nicely balanced. This dark, sumptuous wine shows the more virile, masculine side of Saint-Émilion. It is made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The wine has a considerable depth in the glass, but also an influence from the oak. It is a full-bodied red wine from the Bordeaux region of France, with an ABV of 14%.
