They add great storage value to your shelving starter bay system. Like the starter bay system this extension's shelves can hold as much as 320kg or more dependent upon the size. The shelves are made with 18mm thick chipboard and are ideal for holding a wide variety of items including inventory office supplies chemicals paint cans storage and archive boxes paper boxes storage containers larger parts and so more. The beauty of adding an extension bay to an existing starter bay is that there is no need to purchase an entirely new system. The extension bays allow you to keep a uniform look throughout your storage facility. Extension bays include just one set of upright supports as they are not designed to use 'stand-alone'. Extension bays connect to an existing starter bay which has two sets of uprights and is designed to be a stand-alone unit. The shelving frames and foot plates are manufactured using heavy gauge steel making them lovely and strong. The chipboard decks are supported by steel beams for extra stability.
