Fix a leak provides a rubberised coating which fills and seals fine leaks and cracks. Fix a leak provides a tough, water tight, yet flexible seal, which can stop leaks in pipes, gutters, skylights, seal draughty window frames and has many more uses. It can be used on roof lights, ducting, vinyl, plastic, metal, masonry concrete, plant pots, gutters and downspouts. It is UV resistant and can be overpainted. It works impressively in waterproofing surfaces, especially on surfaces that are in direct contact with seepage water, moisture and non-pressurised liquid or water. Tetrion Make Good™ Fix a leak creates a barrier coating to prevent moisture penetration, reducing rust, corrosion and other problems associated with moisture ingress. Tetrion Make Good™ Fix a leak is high-build and produces a durable barrier, yet still giving good flexibility over wide temperature changes and bright sunlight. Tetrion Make Good™ Fix a leak offers the following features: Rubberised protective proofing formula Easy to use aerosol format High build, tough, flexible UV resistant Seals fine leaks & cracks Use on roof lights, ducting, vinyl, plastic,metal masonry Also on concrete, plant pots, gutters & downspouts Dries to a low gloss finish Application: Remove all loose dirt & debris from the area to be coated. If required, clean and thoroughly dry the area. Remove any previous surface coatings with wire brush & abrasive paper. Lightly sand with a finer abrasive paper to give a good key and re-clean & dry. Shake aerosol can vigorously for 2 minutes minimum. Firstly test spray on a small inconspicuous area, to check spray rate, pattern and compatibility. Apply in short, even, light coats. Do not flood. Apply lighter coats to avoid runs. Apply 2 or 3 light coats, allowing 15 minutes to dry in between coats. If spray button clogs, invert can and spray to release. Clean overspray and spillages before coating dries, with white spirit-type solvent.
