SikaBond SBR+ is a waterproof bonding agent and mortar mixture with multiple uses. It’s an admixture, primer, bonding agent and sealer – a true multi-purpose solution that always gets the job done right. Use SBR+ as an admixture with mortar, screeds and renders, or as an effective primer-sealer in tiling applications. It’s also suitable for use as a bonding agent with screeds or renders, and even as a flexibiliser for cement-based tile adhesive when tiling on wooden or asphalt floors. In addition, SikaBond SBR+ has another big advantage over PVA bonding aids –it’s not adversely affected in wet conditions. It has excellent resistance to water and water vapour, as well as improved frost resistance, so it’s perfect for exterior use. With a reduced water-to-cement ratio, it’s easier to spread and can be applied in much thinner sections. SikaBond SBR+ also has a high level of resistance to salt permeation, a reduced surface dusting of concrete and a greatly improved resistance to many chemicals.
