Product Description
Proven performance is an understatement with Carlube Triple R 10W-40 R-Tec 31 as this engine oil has been thoroughly tested against American and European industry-wide specifications and criteria. The oil has then shown its high quality when tested against more than ten other engine and vehicle manufacturers to verify the engine oil’s performance in a variety of equipment and situations. Created using a wealth of experience, testing and expertise, Carlube Triple R 10W-40 R-Tec 31 boasts superior wear protection, delivering 37% less cam wear and an impressive 64% less cylinder wear when compared to the stringent ACEA A3/B4 specification. By lubricating and protecting key components, even on start-up, Carlube Triple R 10W-40 R-Tec 31 maximises engine life and performance. Carlube Triple R 10W-40 R-Tec 31 also delivers enhanced piston cleanliness, minimising ring-sticking which can result in premature engine wear and blow-by. Within engines, deposits can negatively impact fuel economy, performance and ultimately the life of your engine. Furthermore, Carlube Triple R 10W-40 R-Tec 31 reduces engine sludge by up to 14%, ensuring key components are kept cool, lubricated and working at their maximum potential. Tested at temperatures as low as -39°C, Carlube Triple R 10W-40 R-Tec 31 performs even when engines are coldest, and in cool climates when engines are at the most risk. Maintaining excellent oil flow to the most vulnerable areas of an engine during the cold winter months in Northern Europe and beyond, Carlube Triple R 10W-40 R-Tec 31 protects engines from wear and corrosion all year round. Guidance Changing your engine oil depends on the type of vehicle, the mileage, driving styles and driving conditions. Always consult and follow your manufacturer's manual for the best guidance on when to change your engine oil and what type of oil to use. If necessary, you can check the oil level and easily top up your engine oil. Ensure your car is on level ground, and the engine is cool and not running, simply open the bonnet, locate the bright handle of your oil dipstick and gently pull the dipstick. Clean the dipstick to identify the oil level markers then fully reinsert the dipstick and pull it out once more. The oil shown on the dipstick should sit between the high and low markers. If your oil is below the low marker, you should top up with the manufacturer's recommended engine oil grade and specifications. Alternatively, you can book your vehicle for an oil change at your local garage.
