When mixed with aggregate and water on site, Topcem produces screeds that are ready to receive flooring in as little as 24 hours (ceramics) and 4 days (resilient or wood flooring). Substrate Preparation: Ensure the substrate is stable, clean, and free from oil, dust, and loose material.. Mixing: Mix Topcem with clean, damp screed-grade sand (0–8mm) and water using a forced-action mixer.. Apply Screed: Place, level, and compact the screed as per standard screeding practice.. Curing: Protect from rapid drying and cover if exposed to direct sunlight or wind.. Flooring Installation: Tiles may be laid after 24 hours; resilient or wood flooring after 4 days.. Limitations.
