Suitable for both interior and exterior metal surfaces, the Johnstone's Trade Smooth Metal Paint is both a primer and top coat in one. Available in around 10,000 tintable colours, it leaves a stunning semi-gloss finish and is solvent-based. Johnstone's Smooth Metal Paint can be applied directly to bard, previously painted or rusted surfaces and should be applied by brush only. It offers around 5 years protection, extending maintenance cycles whilst providing excellent resistance to water, humidity, hot salt spray and UVA. It is particularly suited for the renovation of corroded substrates, after the manual removal of loose layers of rust. It can also be used on steel cast iron and other steel construction elements. 10,000 tintable colours include RAL, BS and NCS colours.
