Holbein Has Created Coloured Acrylic Gesso To Provide Artists With A Unique Range Of Acrylic Grounds. The Acrylic Gesso Can Be Used As A Traditional Underpainting On All Surfaces, Including Canvas, Paper, Cloth, Wood, Stone, And Primed Metal. It Also Acts As An Acrylic Paint Medium With An Extremely Opaque And Ultra-matt Finish. Holbein Coloured Gesso Is Highly Pigmented, With An Extremely Smooth Texture. It Can Be Mixed With Any Acrylic Paint Or Medium And Finishes To A Matt Surface. It May Be Overpainted With Water-based Or Oil-based Colours Or Pastels.
