Bartoline Ready Mixed Exterior Filler 330g Ready Mixed Exterior Filler is a ready to use filler suitable for repairing cracks, holes and gaps in exterior rendering, brick, stone, wood and most building materials. Its adhesive properties allow a wide range of applications. Preparation: Brush out loose material and ensure surfaces to be repaired are clean, dry and dust free. Cover nail heads with an oil-based paint to prevent rusting. Moisten absorbent surfaces. Do not apply when rain is imminent or in temperatures below 5 degrees Celcius. Directions: Work the tube well between fingers. Remove cap and cut off tip of nozzle at a 45 degree angle, gently squeeze product into area to be filled and level with a filling knife or scraper. Once dry, smooth with sandpaper. In larger areas, apply filler in layers of no more than 6mm thick, allowing each layer to set before applying the next. For long lasting protection the repair should be sealed with an oil-based paint or varnish. Protect the filled area from rain and water until sealed. Do not use on surfaces regularly under water.
