It effectively blocks resin bleed and sap stains, creating the ideal base for Thorndown's UV clear and translucent wood tones, as well as semi-opaque colours such as Golden Somer, Rowan Berry Red, and Sundowner Orange. Suitable for all untreated softwoods and hardwoods, including pine, cedar, redwood, plywood, MDF, and hardboard, this low-VOC primer is perfect for interior and exterior applications. Enjoy quick drying times - approximately one hour in good weather - with typically only one coat needed. However, a second coat may enhance results on heavily resinous or knotty woods.
