Thorndown Clear Stain Blocking Primer: achieve a flawless finish on your timber projects. This water-based primer excels at blocking tannins, stains, resin bleed, and sap stains. It's ideal for use with Thorndown's UV clear and translucent wood tones, as well as semi-opaque colours such as Golden Somer, Rowan Berry Red, and Sundowner Orange. Suitable for all untreated softwoods and hardwoods, including pine, cedar, redwood, plywood, MDF, and hardboard, this low-VOC primer performs beautifully indoors and outdoors. Drying quickly - in about an hour in good conditions - it usually requires just one coat, although two coats may be beneficial on highly resinous or knotty wood. Available in a convenient 2.5L container.
