Bartoline Rust Converter 400ml Bartoline Rust Converter is an intelligent, fast acting formula that works to convert rust into a stable compound within just 15 minutes. The formula is self-priming so there is no need for a separate primer. It is suitable for ferrous metal surfaces and ideal for automotive applications, tools, machinery, garden furniture, fences, railings and much more. As well as neutralising and converting rust, Bartoline Rust Converter also offers fantastic long-term protection against the reforming of rust. Directions: Remove loose surface contaminants and previous coatings and ensure surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from dirt, oil, grease deposits, etc. Shake aerosol well for approximately 2 minutes. Continue to shake regularly throughout the application process. Agitate surface with a wire brush or sandpaper prior to application for optimal results. Spray on to desired surface from a distance of 15-25cm. Apply 2-3 thin coats for even coverage, leaving 15–20 minute intervals between each coat. Allow a minimum of 3 hours before overpainting. After use, invert can and spray for 2-5 seconds to prevent blockages forming in the nozzle. Note: Only use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area at temperatures between 15 degrees & -25 degrees Celcius. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use in direct sunlight.
