Sikkens Rubbol Primer (Previously Rubbol Primer Plus) Sikkens Rubbol Primer is a premium quality primer/undercoat, for use on timber in exterior and interior locations. Easy to apply with a good quality, synthetic bristle brush, the Primer Plus dries quickly to a smooth, even finish that is ready for topcoat application. A high quality, durable, and versatile primer for wood and other porous surfaces, the Sikkens Rubbol Primer plus offers excellent adhesion and absorption to timber and also features a high level of opacity. Also suitable as a mid-coat for protection of steel, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics, pre-treated according to prescribed system. Timber surfaces that are to be treated should be dry and clean and is perfect to used on wood with open pores, cracks and joints. Also suitable as a mid-coat for metal, before application of a Sikkens Rubbol top coat. The Sikkens Rubbol Primer is available in white and a 1L or 2.5L size tin. Looking for something else? Once fully dried, it has a recoat time of 18 hours. How many coat of Sikkens Rubbol Primer should I apply?
