Give your patio a makeover with the StoneCare4U Essential Satin Finish All Stone Sealer, a professional sealant for porous external natural surfaces. The safe, eco-friendly formula is a topcoat protective sealer that creates a durable, clear satin finish. Suitable for all types of patio, paving and pathways, the sealer is quick-drying and easy to apply. It provides high-quality protection that prevents water-based stains, general grime and dirt from penetrating the surface, making it easier to clean and maintain. Ideal for surfaces such as slate, terracotta, york stone, quarry tile, sandstone, limestone, concrete and many more stone types. This product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid and light grey) sandstone. How To Apply: Remove any loose debris from the work surface and ensure you have adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask and clothing. Leave the surface for a minimum of 72 hours with clear and dry weather to ensure the surface is completely dry and ready to be sealed. Make sure that weather conditions are favourable before commencing. Application temperature range: 15° to 23°C. The sealer needs to be applied thinly and evenly with either a low-pressure sprayer, micro-fibre mop, paintbrush or soft cloth. In addition, take care not to leave application marks or allow the product to puddle on the surface. Allow 45 to 60 minutes of drying time before applying the second coat, repeating the same process. Furthermore, an application hint is to apply the product in the opposite direction to help achieve an even consistent finish. If necessary, more coats can be applied to achieve the desired gloss finish. Please Note: Do not dilute. The sealer may change the colour or appearance of some surfaces. Therefore, always try the product in an inconspicuous area before use. Surfaces that are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material. Maintenance: Clean sealed areas with a mild, pH-neutral cleaner or a very low concentration of the outdoor cleaner range. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents as this can hurt the treated surface. It is not recommended for use on highly polished stone and ceramic glazed surfaces. Coverage: It will vary depending on surface porosity. Average 4 to 6sq metres per litre on textured and riven surfaces. Up to 15 metres per litre on smooth, honed or polished surfaces. Quantity: 5L.
