Golden MSA Gel Is A Mineral Spirit Acrylic Resin System. It Dries To A Semi-rigid Film With Low Flexibility, And Has Excellent Protective Properties And An Exceptional Durability.  Combining MSA Gel With GOLDEN MSA Varnish And Pigments Will Create A Mineral Spirit Based Paint System. With More MSA Varnish In The Mixture, The Higher The Levelling Abilities Of The Paint. MSA Gel Also Can Be Used With Linseed Oil Paints In Order To Decrease Drying Time. MSA Conservation Paint Can Be Blended With MSA Gel At Any Ratio. But When Mixing With Linseed Oil Paints, You Should Mix To The Following Ratios: 1) 75-100% MSA Gel/25-0% Oil Paint OR 2) 25-0% MSA Gel/75-100% Oil Paint. These Ratios Should Produce A Proper Film Formation. Other Ratios Can Result In Crack Formation, Especially With Thick Applications. Warnings: Contains Chemicals That May Cause Damage On Contact.
