Product Description

Bartoline Paint Stripper 400ml Bartoline Paint Stripper is a powerful paint stripper that quickly and easily removes most paints, varnishes, lacquers, adhesives and graffiti. It is suitable for use on metal, wood and brick surfaces. The non-drip gel formula allows for easy application to vertical surfaces. Preparation: Protect surrounding areas if necessary. Wear protective gloves and protective eyewear. Extinguish all ignition sources (fires, boilers, cooker, pilot lights etc.) Use outdoors when possible, otherwise ensure maximum ventilation at all times by opening windows and doors etc. Without adequate ventilation, formation of highly flammable and possible explosive vapour concentrations may occur. Do not use in enclosed spaces. Directions:  Shake aerosol well for approximately 2 minutes. Continue to shake regularly throughout the application process.  Spray liberally on to desired surface from a distance of 15-25cm, allowing for a thorough and even coating.  Leave to soften or dissolve paint for around 15 minutes.  Once paint has blistered, apply a second coat, agitating with a wire/nylon brush or scraper as required.  Leave to work for up to 40 minutes, re-applying if dried out.  Remove blistered or soft paint with a scraper or shavehook and repeat as necessary.  Wash off with detergent and cold water using a nylon scourer. Alternatively, use wire wool alongside white spirit to avoid raising the grain on fine or laminated wood.  Ensure area is fully dry, rubbing down with fine sandpaper or wire wool before refinishing. After Use: Collect waste in newspaper and leave outside to dry. Once dry, dispose contents in the bin. Thoroughly clean tools in warm soapy water, avoiding contact with plastics. Note: Take extra caution when removing lead-based paint, typically used prior to 1960. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not use in direct sunlight.
