What is Hydrex Surgical Scrub Hydrex Surgical Scrub is ideal for general hand washing and pre-operative skin preparation. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate for effective sanitising of hands. Disinfection is essential prior to any procedure that breaks intact skin. Always read the label. Hydrex Surgical Scrub can also be used as a hand wash, simply wet the hands and forearms, apply 5ml of hydrex scrub and wash for 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Ingredients What are the active ingredients Ponceau 4R E124, Dialkylamine Oxide, Glycerol, Industrial Methylatde Spirit, Cellosize, Purified Water and Perfume Hibetone.Ingredients Usage How to use Hydrex Surgical Scrub 500ml By medical and nursing staff: As a surgical scrub, wet the hands and forearms, apply 5ml of Hydrex scrub and wash for 1 minute, cleaning the fingernails with a brush. Rinse and repeat procedure using a further 5ml and wash for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and dry. As a hand wash: Wet the hands and forearms, apply 5ml of hydrex scrub and wash for 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly and dry. By patients: Pre-op skin preparation wash the whole body with 25ml of hydrex scrub on at least 2 occasions, usually the day before the operation.
