This treatment extends service life in outdoor conditions where the sleeper is exposed to air and rain, provided cut edges are re-sealed with an appropriate preservative.The 125 × 250mm profile is the heaviest-duty sleeper in the range, delivering greater strength than the 120 × 240mm and reducing construction layers compared to the 100 × 200mm. At 250mm deep, it allows a 1m wall to be built in just four courses instead of five, while the 125mm thickness significantly reduces deflection under load. It’s the best choice for retaining walls, terraces, and large-scale projects where strength and efficiency matter most.
