Warehouses can be dangerous places with racking piled high with heavy items and forklifts whizzing around carrying big bulky goods other workers walking around are in danger of getting hit. Over 1 300 people in the UK are hospitalised from forklift related injuries every year a lot of which could be preventable by having suitable protective barriers in place to protect pedestrians from being struck. These particular barriers are made from a durable HDPE polymer which is strong enough to protect from impact but flexible enough to absorb the impact and deflect the vehicle away from the protected area and then recover its shape afterwards.
