ATL Fuel Tank Baffle Foam - Blue Suits Diesel/Methanol/Water

Baffle foam is used in fuel tanks to reduce fuel slosh, aid fuel pick up and suppress explosion. The foam should be fitted in the tank in as few pieces as possible to prevent the foam moving around within the tank. Therefore foam installation is not possible on a tank which cannot be disassembled.Two different types of baffle foam are available dependent on application Yellow - For use with petrol or E85 Ethanol fuel (with E85 it is advisable to drain the fuel off if the vehicle is not in use) Blue - For use with Diesel, Methanol and WaterThe foam is supplied in cubic foot block which equates to 28 Litres capacity.
