They are secured by a padlock and with a slot that is fully covered when not in use giving you complete flexibility of access. The added advantage of these removable steel core bollards is that they are designed to not only be extremely resistant to vehicle impact but they also come with a variety of options for replaceable polyethylene sleeves. The benefit of these sleeves is twofold: firstly they protect the strong galvanised steel core from corrosion vastly increasing the life of the bollard. Secondly the sleeve is significantly cheaper to remove than the steel core. This means that even if the bollard is damaged provided the central column is not compromised only the sleeve needs to be replaced. The other major advantage of the sleeve design is that it enables you to fit the aesthetic appearance of these heavy duty steel core bollards to the environment.
