BMC CDA Carbon Dynamic Airbox - Type 3

The CDA (Carbon Dynamic Airbox) filter system comprises of a cylindrical carbon air box, a washable filter element and length of air ducting pipe. Track and dyno proven to improve the power and torque of your engine.Substituting the original air box with a CDA, cold air is directly channelled through an internal airflow deflector to the filter, and drawn into the engine with very little pressure drop (patented system). The CDA system also includes black alloy ducting (60 cm length) for connecting the system to an air intake or other pipework at the front of the car.The filter system is supplied as a 'universal' fit system that allows fitting to most vehicles. Brackets, adaptors etc may be required to complete the fitting depending on application.Available in three different sizes:Type 1: Recommended for up to 1600cc engines. Outlets 60, 65mm. Length 185mmType 2: Recommended for engine over 1600cc. Outlets 70, 85mm. Length 200mmType 3: Recommended for 6 cylinder & V8 engines. Inlet 80mm, Outlet 100mm. Length 200mmFitting note: This is a universal kit so will fit almost all vehicles, however it is likely some fabrication will be required.
