Should paths change, they can be quickly and independently adapted by relaying or removing the guide tapes - completely without structural modifications or software adjustments. The BITO LEO transport robots work independently of central IT and ensure a constant, traceable material flow between goods-in, warehouse, production and dispatch. Thanks to the track-guided navigation and the clearly defined transfer points, transport processes are mapped safely and without disruption. The transport robots can turn on the spot by 90° or 180° - controlled by markers that specify the desired direction of rotation. This allows the vehicle to be moved precisely in narrow aisles and to enter loading or transfer stations in a space-saving manner. For short distances of up to 5 m, reversing is also possible. On straight sections of up to 25 m, LEO can travel without a track. This function reduces wear on the floor markings, prevents track damage in areas with forklift traffic and saves material and effort in route planning. LEO Flow with fixed height - Automated connection of conveyor lines at the same height The LEO Flow with a fixed conveyor height enables the automated transport of containers, cartons and small parts between conveyor lines at the same height. Via the integrated belt conveyor, the load units are picked up laterally to the direction of travel and transferred precisely to roller conveyors, buffer racks or automatic storage systems. The driverless transport system replaces rigid conveyor technology sections and can also reliably transport non-standardised goods. This makes the LEO Flow with fixed height particularly suitable for existing systems where an extension or adaptation of existing conveyor technology is desired. The conveyor height is defined customer-specifically for this variant and remains constant. This allows existing systems to be easily connected without additional conveyor lines or structural adjustments. This variant is used wherever material flows between system sections of the same height are to be connected - for example, between picking areas, assembly islands or dispatch zones.
