The original boltless workbench, with a wipe-clean melamine worktop and shelf, is used in thousands of businesses and homes throughout the UK. The BiG400 Workbench is made of European-sourced steel and finished in powder-coated blue and high visibility orange, making it ideal for the factory, workshop, garage, or even as a packing bench. It is simple to assemble, fully adjustable, and can support loads of up to 400kg that are evenly distributed. The two wipe-clean decks are held up by a central support beam and rest on top of the profiled steel beams. Plastic top caps protect the worktop's corners, and angled-steel uprights protect the lower shelf's corners. Using the simple assembly principles of the boltless, stud-and-keyhole design, the fully modular construction of the BiG400 Workbench allows the lower shelf to be adjusted on a 38mm pitch and a continuous Workbench run to be built with the addition of tie-plates.
