Butterfly Valve Lockout - Prevents operation of valves

Butterfly valves tend to sit on pipes and take the form of a horizontal handle which is used to operate a valve inside the pipe turning the flow of liquids or gas on and off. During maintenance you may have a need to close a value and then ensure that no one else turns it back on again until all has been fixed or made safe; this is where this butterfly valve lockout product comes in. It works by sliding over the handle of the valve preventing it from being operating.  When slid into position the wedge on the slider section prevents the compression handle being squeezed Prevents operation of valves in similar way to standard Ball Valve lockouts Wedge on the slider section sits between the compression handle and lever preventing operation
