Our 68mm downpipe is available in 2.5m lengths. Circular downpipe is usually used in conjunction with half round and deepflow gutter systems. This downpipe is supplied with a socket that features fixing lugs on either side, which further enhances its traditional aesthetic.2.5m lengths are usually sufficient for rainwater pipe drops on single storey buildings but for two and three storey buildings the pipes can be joined together with pipe sockets. This is to imitate the way in which original cast iron pipe drops were created. The pipe has an outside diameter of 68mm.Rainwater pipes are always a pushfit joint - never use silicon or solvent weld on these systems as there might be a requirement to take them apart for cleaning or unblocking at some point in the future.Please note: The pipe and socket are shipped separately, the socket will be found in the box with any other fittings in your purchase. The socket can then simply be placed over the end of the pipe.
