Hargreaves Foundry round cast iron downpipes are cast centrifugally with a socket as a one piece product. This method increases capacity of the round downpipe significantly in comparison to pipes that have a socket fitted internally through traditional sand moulding methods. The centrifugal casting method guarentees completely straight lengths, an even surface, and consistent metal thickness. The finish will not be completely smooth due to manufacturing methods but will not have clear defects such as cracking or uneven wall thickness. The inside of the pipe should be free of obstructions that retrict water flow.This product is made to order and may take longer to dispatch and deliver.
